Joseph M. McDade Jr., a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Deputy General Counsel for Dispute Resolution, Office of the General Counsel, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. Mr. McDade is responsible for establishing and implementing Air Force alternative dispute resolution policy, guidance and regulations. Mr. McDade also manages the Air Force ADR Program Office. Between 1999 and 2002, the Air Force ADR program won four national awards for excellence. Mr. McDade received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., and an undergraduate degree with honors in international affairs from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, also in Washington, D.C. Prior to becoming an Air Force attorney, Mr. McDade worked as an associate in the law firm of Patton, Boggs & Blow. Mr. McDade is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
