Marilyn M. Thomas, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director for Budget Management and Execution, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget, Washington, D.C. Mrs. Thomas is responsible for the planning, programming, and budget policies for the Air Force Working Capital Funds and Special Programs and the management and oversight of budget formulation and execution activities of all Air Force appropriations. Mrs. Thomas, a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, began her career with the Air Force as a Palace Acquire intern upon graduation from Oklahoma State University. She has held progressively more responsible positions in the areas of budget formulation, program integration and resource management. Her experience spans several appropriations and functional areas, including acquisitions. Prior to assuming her current position, she was Director for Resources and Analysis in the Office of the Chief Information Officer.
