Rear Admiral Charles A. Williams:

Rear Admiral Williams graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1972, and received his MBA from St. Louis University in 1981 where he later taught in the Business School.
After earning his commission through Aviation Officer Candidate School Rear Adm. Williams attended the Navy Supply Corps School in 1974. His initial assignment after graduation was Anti-Submarine Squadron 28 (VS-28) as one of the first S-3 Squadron Supply Officers. While deployed aboard USS America, CAG Six appointed him to his staff as the Airwing Supply Officer. In 1977, he was selected to the Naval Acquisition Contracting Officer (NACO) Intern Program and assigned to the Aviation Supply Office in Philadelphia, Pa. He subsequently attended Army, Navy and Air Force Defense Contracting Courses and the Executive Business Program at the University of Virginia.
After release from active duty Rear Adm. Williams continued his naval career with diverse assignments in CONUS and overseas reserve units and participated in a variety of exercises. He has served with the Seabees, Joint Service and Supply units and in the Secretary of the Navy's Office of Program Appraisal. Additional assignments included a Naval Reserve Readiness Command Staff and five command tours including NSC Pensacola, NSD Guam, DCMD Chicago, NAVICP Mechanicsburg and DSC Columbus. He is currently serving as Deputy Commander, Naval Inventory Control Point. He has also attended the Naval War College, the Transportation Management School, the Analytical Decision Making Course for Defense Management conducted by the Naval Post Graduate School and the Senior Naval Reserve Officer Orientation Course. He has served on O-4/O-5/O-6 Selection Boards, Command/Non-Command Billet Boards and the CNRF Policy Board.
Rear Adm. Williams is active in his community. He served on various economic, educational and fund raising committees and has been a speaker to various organizations on Naval Sea Power.
Rear Adm. Williams is a Principal of Commercial Realty Associates, a commercial real estate firm in St. Louis, specializing in client representation for office, industrial, retail and investment properties. He is also a partner in a real estate investment holding company. He has earned the RPA and CCIM designations in real estate management and investment. Previously, he was a logistics engineer working on F-18 supportability and a contract negotiator for the AV-8B and F-18 program at McDonnell Douglas. He also holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with CFIIMEI ratings and flew for Trans World Express, a commuter airline.
His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals and two Navy Commendations. He holds a Naval Aviation Supply Officer Warfare Designation and is DAWIA Level II certified.
