Timothy A. Beyland:

Timothy A. Beyland, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director of Plans and Integration, and Director, Air Force Personnel Operations Agency, Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He is responsible for the development of plans and the design of future systems to ensure availability of personnel services for the Air Force warfighter. He is also responsible for the integration of personnel policies and objectives in a human resources strategy; providing personnel analysis support; and overseeing force shaping and management.
Mr. Beyland was born in Castro Valley, Calif. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1976, and attended Miami University where he completed undergraduate and graduate work. He entered federal service in October 1981 as a member of the Air Force Logistics Command Mid-Level Management Training Program at Kelly Air Force Base, Texas. Prior to his current assignment, he was Force Program Executive Officer for Combat and Mission Support, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Headquarters U.S. Air Force
Mr. Beyland serves on the Air Force Incentive Awards Board and as the Chairman, NATO-Airborne Warning and Control System Board of Directors.
